About Mycleanium

Our Vision

Mycleanium replaces extractive remediation with regenerative biology—precision-engineered for industrial-scale impact. We don't just clean up contamination; we restore ecological balance and transform environmental liabilities into assets. Our mission it to transform toxic sites into living landscapes

Our Breakthrough Technology

Mycleanium emerged from over four years of applied fungal R&D led by founder Jonathan Hlibka. Originally focused on substrate engineering for mushroom cultivation, the team developed proprietary breakthroughs in mycelial sterilization, colonization, and pollutant degradation—laying the groundwork for scalable mycoremediation.

Proprietary Innovation

  • Advanced substrate production

  • Zero-heat sterilization

  • Accelerated colonization cycles

  • Targeted myco-extraction for hydrocarbons and metals

We operate at the intersection of environmental biology and industrial remediation. Our solutions are deployed across mining, oil & gas, and contaminated infrastructure projects where legacy methods fall short on cost, compliance, or ecological recovery.

Industry Solutions

Mining Operations

Mycleanium helps mining companies meet closure obligations, neutralize heavy metal liabilities, and restore land faster and at significantly lower cost than traditional excavation or chemical encapsulation methods.

Energy Production

Energy producers integrate our systems to remediate drilling waste, address pipeline leaks, and treat processing runoff—delivering measurable ESG improvements and regulatory compliance without capital expenditure escalation.

Jonathan Hlibka - Founder

Scott Walters - Chief Investment Officer

Jonathan Hlibka is the founder of Mycleanium and architect of its core mycoremediation technologies. He developed proprietary advances in fungal substrate engineering, zero-heat sterilization, and heavy metal immobilization. The technology enables scalable, in-situ remediation of toxic sites without excavation or chemicals. With a background spanning creative production and environmental systems design, Hlibka leads Mycleanium’s mission to replace extractive cleanup methods with regenerative biology.
